Amending a Proof of Claim
If information in a proof of claim or its supporting information is incorrect or incomplete, a creditor must file an amended proof of claim. The creditor may do so in one of two ways.
Submit an electronic amended proof of claim using the Court's ePOC program. No registration or password is needed to use ePOC. The ePOC system will automatically create an amended electronic proof of claim based on the information you enter into the program. Check "yes" when asked if you are amending a claim and have handy the number of your earlier proof of claim. If you don't know the number of your original proof of claim, call the Bankruptcy Clerk at (605) 357-2400 or (605) 945-4460. You may upload any supporting information once you complete the electronic amended proof of claim. Click here to use ePOC. Please note, if an amended proof of claim is needed because the name or the address of the creditor is incorrect, you cannot use ePOC to file the amended proof of claim. Instead, you will need to file an amended proof of claim using Official Form 410, as provided below.
